Harlie & Luke’s wedding at Alpheton Hall Barns was one of those days that just flowed. Relaxed, full of laughs, a few happy tears, and the kind of energy where you can tell everyone’s exactly where they’re meant to be.
The morning kicked off with chilled getting-ready vibes. Harlie was surrounded by her girls, wrapped up in a robe, hair and makeup in full swing, chatting away while the final touches came together. One of my favourite moments from the morning was Harlie catching her reflection in the mirror – that calm, excited smile that says this is really happening. No nerves, just pure anticipation.
Over at the other side, Luke was all smiles too. Suited and booted, looking sharp, and clearly buzzing. There’s a brilliant moment of him greeting Harlie for the first time – that huge grin, arms wide, completely forgetting anyone else is in the room. Absolute gold.
The ceremony itself took place inside the beautiful barn, with its exposed beams and soft light giving everything a warm, intimate feel. As Harlie walked in, every eye was on her. Luke’s reaction said it all – emotional, proud, and totally locked in. The first kiss was met with big smiles and plenty of applause, and just like that, they were officially married.
After the ceremony, we headed outside for confetti and group photos. The sunshine showed up perfectly, and the confetti throw was one of those joyful, slightly chaotic moments that makes everyone laugh. The bridal party fully brought the energy – lifting Harlie into the air, celebrating hard, and clearly ready for a party.
The speeches were heartfelt with just the right amount of humour. Hands in the air, laughter across the room, and a few emotional moments that had guests reaching for tissues. You could feel how loved Harlie and Luke are by everyone there.
Then came the evening – first dance under the barn lights, guests gathered close, watching quietly before the dance floor filled up properly. From that point on, it was non-stop. Dancing, big hugs.
Harlie & Luke’s wedding was relaxed, fun, and full of personality. No fuss, no forced moments – just real emotions, real laughs, and a proper celebration with their favourite people. Alpheton Hall Barns was the perfect backdrop for a day that felt completely and unapologetically them.
