Lorna and Paul's Wedding at Venue 16, Monday, 15th of September 2025

Lorna and Paul’s wedding day had that perfect mix of calm anticipation, genuine emotion, and quiet, joyful moments that make photographing weddings such a pleasure. From the very start of the morning, everything felt unhurried and full of warmth.

Preparations began at home, where Lorna spent the morning surrounded by her bridesmaids. Soft natural light filled the room as final touches were made — hair pinned into place, dresses adjusted, and plenty of smiles exchanged. One of the loveliest moments was seeing Lorna pause to take it all in, looking at herself in the mirror, calm and glowing, just before stepping into her dress. There’s something so special about those quiet seconds before the day truly begins.

Once in her dress, Lorna was helped by her bridesmaids, all dressed in rich green tones that complemented the day beautifully. Laughter filled the room as they fastened buttons and smoothed layers of tulle, the excitement building with every small detail. These are the moments that often pass in a blur on the day itself, but they’re some of the most meaningful to look back on.

Before long, it was time to head to Venue 16. Lorna’s arrival was full of anticipation — a smile through the car window, veil softly gathered, knowing that the ceremony was just moments away.

The ceremony itself was heartfelt and intimate. Lorna was escorted down the aisle by her dad, a moment filled with emotion not just for them, but for everyone watching. Venue 16 looked beautiful, dressed with flowing fabrics and delicate décor, creating a soft, welcoming atmosphere. Guests looked on as Lorna walked forward, bouquet in hand, the room filled with smiles, proud glances, and a few happy tears.

After the ceremony, the newlyweds finally had a chance to breathe and enjoy being together. One of my favourite moments from the day was seeing Lorna and Paul walking arm in arm outdoors, sharing a laugh and soaking in the fact that they were finally married. The light was perfect, the garden peaceful, and the connection between them completely effortless — exactly how wedding portraits should feel.

Lorna and Paul’s day was a beautiful reminder that weddings don’t need to be rushed or over-complicated to be meaningful. With the people they love around them, a relaxed atmosphere, and plenty of genuine moments, their Venue 16 wedding was full of warmth from start to finish.
