Lauren and Ryan, Thursday 13th July 2026 , Wedding at All Manor of Events
Some wedding days are full of those little moments that make you smile long after the day itself has passed. Lauren and Ryan’s wedding at All Manor of Events was certainly one of them. From the excitement of getting ready with family and friends to the confetti-filled celebrations and a gorgeous sunset to finish the day, it was a wedding full of love, laughter and memories worth holding on to.
The day began with Lauren getting ready, surrounded by her bridesmaids, family and friends. There was plenty going on, with hair and makeup taking shape, last-minute touches being made and everyone sharing in that lovely mix of excitement and nerves that comes with a wedding morning.
Lauren looked beautiful in her wedding dress, and it was lovely to capture her getting ready before the big moment. Alongside the more traditional photographs, I wanted to capture the atmosphere of the morning as it really was, with everyone enjoying being together and making the most of those final moments before the celebrations began.
With preparations complete, it was time to make the journey to the venue. Lauren arrived in a white Hummer limousine, which made for a lovely entrance and added a little extra excitement to the day.
All Manor of Events is a beautiful setting for a wedding, with its rustic barn, wooden beams and warm, welcoming atmosphere. Inside, the ceremony room was dressed with rows of chairs, flowers and twinkling fairy lights hanging overhead. It was one of those settings that feels intimate and special, with plenty of character of its own.
As the guests took their seats and waited for the ceremony to begin, there was a real sense of anticipation. Everyone was ready to see Lauren and Ryan finally get their moment together.
There is always something special about the few moments before a wedding ceremony begins. Guests settle into their seats, everyone looks towards the entrance, and the excitement in the room builds.
Lauren looked stunning as she made her way down the aisle, ready to marry Ryan. With their family and friends gathered around them, the two of them shared a moment that marked the beginning of their next chapter together.
From the exchange of rings to the smiles and glances they shared, it was lovely to photograph the ceremony as it unfolded naturally. These are the moments that make wedding photography so important to me. Years from now, the photographs will bring back not just what everyone looked like, but how the day felt.
And, of course, once the formalities were over, it was time for that all-important first kiss as husband and wife!
After the ceremony, everyone made their way outside, ready to welcome the newlyweds with a shower of confetti. It’s one of my favourite parts of a wedding day because there is very little posing involved. Everyone is smiling, people are cheering, and the couple get to walk through a tunnel of love from the people who mean the most to them.
Lauren and Ryan looked so happy as they made their way through their guests, with confetti filling the air and smiles all around.
These moments are often over in seconds, but they make some of the most joyful photographs of the entire day. There is something lovely about seeing the couple relax, enjoy the moment and realise they are officially married!
Once the excitement of the ceremony had settled, it was time to take Lauren and Ryan away for some photographs together. I always like to keep this part relaxed. Your wedding day goes by quickly enough without spending ages away from your guests, so the aim is to create beautiful photographs while giving you time to enjoy the day. Lauren and Ryan were lovely together in front of the camera. We captured some natural portraits around the grounds, making the most of the greenery, the surrounding trees and the rustic setting.
As the day moved into the evening, the atmosphere inside the barn changed again. The warm glow of the fairy lights, the darker backdrop and the excitement of the celebrations created a completely different feel from the bright summer afternoon.
Lauren and Ryan were ready to enjoy being newlyweds, and we captured some lovely photographs of them together beneath the lights. With confetti floating around them and the lights glowing in the background, these images had a real sense of occasion.
One of the highlights of Lauren and Ryan’s wedding was getting outside as the sun began to set. Golden hour is always worth keeping an eye out for on a wedding day. The light becomes softer and warmer, the surroundings take on a different feel, and there is often a chance to step away from the busyness of the celebrations for a few quiet minutes together. We made the most of the evening light, capturing Lauren and Ryan standing together against the sunset. The open sky, the sun low on the horizon and the darker grass in the foreground created a beautiful backdrop for their portraits.
Lauren and Ryan’s wedding at All Manor of Events was a lovely reminder of what makes wedding photography so rewarding. It's not just about the big moments, important as they are. It's also about the laughter during the preparations, the smiles between friends, the excitement of the ceremony, the confetti in the air and those quieter moments together when the day begins to slow down.
Lauren and Ryan, thank you for letting me be part of such a special day. I hope these photographs bring back all the happiness, laughter and little details that made your wedding yours, and that you enjoy looking back on them for many years to come.
Congratulations to you both!
